Talks and my tendency to be late....

I had a talk today. I was late getting to church. ( i am always late to important things but on time to non-important things. Like I was late to the youth fireside on Prayer a few hours ago as well. ) About 12 minutes late! So I had to walk up the isle in front of the entire congregation to the stand. It was humiliating. My talk went fine. My voice didn't crack or anything and i apparently looked and sounded confident though my knees were shaking like crazy behind the pulpit. :) I never really looked up. Mainly for two reasons: One, I finished my talk this morning so i had to read it word for word pretty much because I was not familiar with it and i would lose my place. And two, It is SO scary to look at all those people who are staring up at me.
I wish that I didn't have to speak TODAY because the Encore choir was preforming today and i know like all of the people in it. So that was kind of embarrassing. It is also embarrassing to share my thoughts and feelings. This talk was easier because it was simple. It was on tithing. But my last one was on, "Faith in christ." I do have a testimony of this church but I am not an open person. I don't like to share and express my feelings. So pretty much, I am NOT good with talks. Oh well. Hopefully over the years I will miraculously become better at writing and presenting talks.

My first editing project ( 2010 )

Last year in Beehives we made this "movie " off of a mormon ad. We tried to make it seem like an old spice commercial. :)  ( this is NOT the final version. I seem to have misplaced that. )

Oh goodness....

This picture makes me laugh. Every time. :)  Don't ask.

it seems to me that sierra and i are always violent :) haha i just reread an old post by me, and it was also about the fights we had! i was here a couple days ago and she wouldnt give me a paper that i wanted to read(obviously she wrote it and was embarrassed..) so we fought it out..her room got even messier than it had been before, and i dont think we ever declared a winner, but i did get to read the paper! ...but she was the one to tackle me ( multiple times... :)). anyways, my point is, its always fun to make messes with your best friends.but not always fun to clean them up. ( not that we did but.. ya know...) so you just have to make it fun! we also made...ice cream (?) that day..it didnt work out too well. haha but it was fun in the making! dont be afraid to make a fool of yourself, its always fun to laugh with others! plus-you wont make friends with people if youre always sensitive about everything and stuff.
my challenge to you: go out there and teach someone to wrestle! its lots of fun to get out all your anger with someone you love:) (also--we did that too)

Remember

Looking back on those days, remembering the fun times and the memories made. Wishing that you had spoken when something that needed to be said... Regretting those lazy days, laying in bed. The good old days full of sunshine and secretive smiles, i haven't had one of those for a while. The things that you took for granted while you had them, are the things that you always seem to miss the most after they've ended.
   REMEMBER:

Your friends
The things that you looked forward to...
never forget how to climb a tree...
no matter how cold the water, it won't kill you. :)
Dress up once in a while.. Pretend!
shopping is always fun with friends.
remember the weird things you did.
remember the old friends and the new
take time to spend time with your family.
And smell the flowers.
fresh air is good for you.
hiking can be fun!
dolphins are awesome.

to never pass up a photo opportunity.
sand can be really fun! :)
to always wash your toes before eating egg rolls...
friends are always there for you.
have fun and express your self.

don't be afraid to fight it  out!

GOOD TIMES..........
